The Space
The Presidential Suite accommodates 4 adults.
The suite is suited to families, small private groups or multi-generational travellers who want the ease of staying together while still having room to retreat. Shared living space allows the stay to feel more relaxed and residential, ideal for guests spending more time on the estate.
It is a strong choice for those wanting a more private accommodation experience without moving into a full villa stay.
Two Distinct Bedrooms
The suite features two separate bedrooms to ensure a restorative stay for all guests. The 48 sqm master bedroom is oriented towards the covered patio and features an extra-length super king-size bed (convertible to twins).
The second, separate bedroom offers additional space and privacy for families or friends, with both rooms equipped with luxury 300-thread count percale linen and individual air-conditioning.
Refined Marble Bathroom Features
The en-suite bathroom is finished in elegant marble and offers dual access for convenience. It features a free-standing bathtub, a walk-in rain shower, and a twin basin vanity.
Quality is found in every detail, from the heated towel rails with high-quality 710 gsm towels to the finest cotton velour bathrobes provided for your comfort.

Outdoor space adds to the sense of privacy and ease.
Guests can move between the suite, the wider estate and their own private outdoor setting, allowing the day to unfold at a slower pace. It is well suited to quiet mornings, relaxed afternoons and time spent together between estate experiences.

The Homestead, a meticulously restored national monument dating back to 1773, offers an intimate setting where our estate’s history is tangible. Whether joining us for an elegant farmhouse breakfast or a dinner of refined simplicity, you are dining within the original walls that have hosted guests for over two centuries.
It is a living tribute to Cape Dutch heritage and honest luxury, where seasonal flavours and our farm-to-table philosophy come together.

Can children stay in the Presidential Suite?
Yes. The suite can accommodate 1 child aged 16 years or younger on a rollaway bed in the lounge. Child rates apply according to age. Baby cots are available on request.

Pet Policy: Due to our sensitive ecosystem and the protection of our runner ducks, the entire estate has a strict no pet policy.
Deposits: All reservations must be guaranteed by a valid credit card. A 50 per cent deposit must be received within 48 hours of booking. For bookings within the cancellation period, a 100 per cent payment is required.
Cancellation: Cancellations must be received in writing. Within 42 days of arrival, a 50 per cent fee applies; within 28 days, no-shows, or premature departures, a 100 per cent fee applies.
Privacy: Your data is protected in accordance with international GDPR standards and the South African POPIA Act.
