هومستيد (The Homestead)

يقع هذا المكان الراقي داخل منزل ريفي تم ترميمه بشكل جميل يعود تاريخه إلى عام 1773، ويقدم تجربة ضيافة مميزة في أجواء هادئة وحميمية، حيث تتناغم فيه عناصر التراث والأناقة مع إحساس عميق بالمكان. بدءًا من وجبة الإفطار التي تُحضّر في المزرعة وصولًا إلى تجربة شاي المزرعة، ينصبّ التركيز على المواسم والذاكرة الثقافية، والتي تتجلى من خلال المكونات المحلية وتقاليد منطقة كيب.

Start your day at the Homestead with a farm-to-table breakfast inspired by the estate and its seasons. Within the beautifully restored walls of our 1773 manor house, mornings unfold slowly over excellent coffee, fresh seasonal dishes and generous farm bakes. Each plate reflects the rhythm of the working farm – free-range eggs, estate preserves, just-baked breads and produce gathered from our gardens – served in a setting where more than three centuries of history feel tangible in every detail.

Every morning, our Indian Runner ducks make their way through the vineyards as part of Vergenoegd Löw’s regenerative farming programme. Settle in with front-row seats to this much-loved daily tradition, one of the estate’s most distinctive and photographed experiences. Whether you are exploring the Winelands for the day or staying with us, breakfast at the Homestead is open to both visitors and hotel guests.

As the evenings grow cooler, the Homestead comes into its own. Settle in beside the fire for a seasonal dinner experience inspired by the farm and led by our estate wines, served in the warmth of one of Stellenbosch’s most historic homes. The menu changes with the season, celebrating farm-reared produce, heritage surroundings and the slower rhythm of winter dining.

This is a relaxed yet refined evening in the Winelands, where the wines shape every plate and the candlelit rooms tell three centuries of Cape Dutch history. Dine within the same walls that have welcomed guests since 1773, and let the unhurried pace of the farm set the tone for the evening. Now open to both visitors and hotel guests.

The Farm Tea Experience is an unhurried journey through time, flavour and heritage. Rooted in indigenous ingredients and Cape tea traditions, it brings together storytelling, hospitality and refinement within the beautifully restored Homestead. From rooibos and honeybush to farm bakes and Cape favourites, each course celebrates the stories, flavours and traditions of South Africa.

Served over carefully curated teas and handcrafted treats, both sweet and savoury, the experience invites you to slow down, connect and indulge. It is a quietly indulgent afternoon shaped by season and place – a refined and memorable way to spend time in the Winelands, whether you are marking a special occasion or simply pausing to savour the moment.

Located less than 5km from False Bay, Vergenoegd Löw’s vineyards are shaped by cooling ocean breezes and ancient marine soils – an influence that forms the very foundation of this experience and gives our wines their distinctive character.

Featuring Imperial Heritage Caviar paired with Vergenoegd Löw MCC or Champagne, the multi-course journey unfolds within the elegance of our historic Homestead.
